The Day Spellfire Rained from the Sky by Phiktorial The Day Spellfire Rained from the Sky by Phiktorial
Some Fallout: Equestria stuff. I wanted to do something with the destruction of Canterlot, as it's so much more clever than simply blowing it up with a balefire bomb, and decided to include Stable 2 as well. This is the second painting I've made with the free painting program Krita, which is pretty great except being a bit unstable and sluggish on windows.

Quit worrying about your boyfriend, AJ. He'll be fine... kind of... :)

I would love to see her in a trench coat.

fairly good, but kidna inaccurate. she looks mostly her show age. in fallout equstria, she about in her late or early forties at least. enough to get a few gray hairs but not enough for her to start getting wrinkles.

Amazing work, and finally, finally someone is drawing the Last day ! It's so hard to find good pictures of that event, let alone with other ponies reacting to it from a different perspective. Say what you want folks, but this guy here just nailed it ! :D

I think this fits here.

That music's kind of interesting, but the art style in the video feels like a total Fallout 3 ripoff.

As to the art, it looks pretty nice, but I think it lacks something. I think it has to do with how the FoE universe implies a world that is more advanced on average than standard MLP. It's also a little unlikely that Applejack, the head of the Ministry of Wartime Technology (?, MWT) would be standing in a field in Ponyville wearing nothing. Especially when the story seems to suggest that she had long moved away from Ponyville for the most part and was responsible for the development or at least the directive to build power armor and loosely the head of the steel rangers...  I was also under the impression that Canterlot was hit with several missiles/bombs/warheads, so is the pink cloud one or? I also think the scale might be a bit off but otherwise very nice piece.

Thanks for the comment. I do agree that AJ should probably be wearing something, but I couldn't really figure out a nice design for the clothes and thought that her hasty journey back to Ponyville and Stable 2 would be a reasonable excuse for her wearing nothing. As for Canterlot, it was hit with a bombardment of missiles to force the shields to stay up, and then the Pink Cloud megaspell was activated inside the shields by a zebra infiltrator.

Metro: 2033 (… ) and Metro: Last Light (… )are set in a post-apocalyptic world like Fallout, but the "nuclear aftermath" is about the only thing the two settings have in common, from what I have seen.

As for the second paragraph, I am going to say there was some artistic license taken for Applejack's presence. This picture is also not of a place likely to show the tech level, unless you consider the body armor some of the ponies are wearing.

In Fallout: Equestria, Canterlot was protected from megaspells by Celestia and Luna. However, a 'biological' weapon talisman was set off inside the shield, releasing a pink fog that 'melted' and killed everything inside, or turned living beings into the infamous "Canterlot ghouls".
